Google Classroom for Science

Over the summer of 2014 Google released Google Classroom for teachers like me who use Google Apps For Education (GAFE) in their classrooms. I've been experimenting with it in a couple of my homeroom classes. Now, I'm ready to move it to my science course for both 5s (my homeroom) and 5z (Mrs. Ziegler's homeroom) students.

Google Classroom makes the students' job of managing all their course materials much easier. Essentially, it's a portal that helps students manage all their GAFE tools—Google Email (GMAIL), Google Drive, videos on YouTube, and more.

Here is a short video I made to help explain Classroom to the students. I've also shared this video publicly to give back to the community of educators who've shared so many helpful tools with me.
